What personally identifiable information does MCSI collect from me?
MCSI collects information in several ways from different parts of our Web site.

Some personal information is gathered when you register. MCSI asks for your name, e-mail address, username, and password during registration. Once you register you are no longer anonymous to MCSI and are able to take full advantage of MCSI's services.

In addition to during registration, we may ask you for personal information at other times, such as when you report a problem with one of our sites or services.

What are cookies and how does MCSI use them?
A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. 

Generally, cookies are used to:

(1) Remind a site of who you are to access your account information (stored on the site's computers) 

(2) Measure certain traffic patterns, such as which areas of a web sites you have visited, the frequency of your visits, etc.

MCSI currently does not use cookies, but may do so in the future.

Who is collecting information?
When you are on a MCSI site and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with MCSI alone, unless it is specifically stated otherwise.

Please be aware that business partners, advertisers, and Web sites that have links on our site may also collect personally identifiable information about you. This only occurs if you click on a link or graphic that transfers you to their web-site.  The information practices of those business partners, advertisers, and Web sites linked to MCSI are not covered by this privacy statement.

With whom does MCSI share my information?
As a general rule, MCSI will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below. The following describes some of the ways that your information may be disclosed.

Services. MCSI may hire outside services, such as bookkeeping or collection services as necessary to operate the business. Where necessary to perform their jobs, and with an understanding of strict confidentiality, MCSI may share your information with the operators of these services.

Business Partners & Sponsors. MCSI has no plans of acquiring business partners or sponsors at this time. Should MCSI acquire such business partners or sponsors in the future, it will never disclose your personal information to these business partners or sponsors, unless it is specifically described to you prior to data collection or prior to transferring the data. If personally identifying data about you will be shared, we will tell you before we collect or transfer the data.

Other. MCSI may also disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating MCSI's Terms of Service or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) MCSI's rights or property, other MCSI users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. MCSI may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products and services.

MCSI does not sell or rent user information to anyone.

What else should I know about my privacy?
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example on message boards, through e-mail, or in chat areas - that information can be collected and used by others.
